Athens   Beautiful Athens - Ancient City of the Gods          Monemvasia Pictures   Monemvasia is a little town in the south east region of the Peloponnese and a few hours drive from Athens. One of the most striking features is that the town is actually carved out a gigantic piece of rock. You cannot take a car inside so travel light as you will either need a donkey or have the unfortunate endeavor of dragging your luggage over stone paved streets.          Mykonos   Mykonos is known more for its party beaches than its pretty windmills and streets. It is also the staging point for tours the wonderful archaeological site of Delos.

Nauplia            Naxos   This lesser known island in the Cyclades not too far from Santorini has a much more earthy and down-home feel unlike its cosmopolitan neighbors. If you want a quieter and inexpensive experience, Naxos is worth a visit. It is also a very large farming community and known for its local wine.          Peloponnese(Peloponnesus)   The Peloponnese is the main peninsula with the famous cities of Athens, Corinth, Olympia, and Mystra and other less well know but equally beautiful and wondrous towns such as Monemvasia.

Santorini   Ah, Santorini, world renowned island that truly lives up to the hype. Absolutely gorgeous views, amazing architecture and breathtaking vistas.          Thessaloniki and Northern Greece   This second largest city in Greece often overlooked by Athens but has a nice Balkan feel to it. If you want to see the country of Alexander the Great, head on up there. Also home of Mt. Olympus, Edessa, and the tombs of Philip the Great.          Nicholas
